	What is filling power? Filling power is the International standard that measures the quality and performance of the down. A high filling power indicates that the filling is of a good quality and will regulate to your body temperature keeping you cool in summer and warm in winter. High filling power = high loft = high tog rating



	Did you know? There is no difference in the insulation abilities of grey, brown or white down.The most prized and rare down in the down world, obtained from the Eider duck is black in colour.



	Did you know? The method for sorting down from feathers is a mechanical process. There is no method to eliminate small percentages of feathers reaching the down chambers. Therefore 100% down is technically not possible.

		Lifson Products only utilises durable 100% cotton downproof fabric casings to ensure you receive the best quality available. A baffle wall is sewn into each casing to allow the down to loft. This applies to our square (box) and channel casings.
